"Dear Evan Hansen" follows a boy with social anxiety who becomes entangled in a lie and, through it, in the life of a grieving family. Its 2024 Korean staging was the first in Asia and won Best Musical (over-400-seat category) at the 9th Korea Musical Awards. The 2026 season is a return production, opening on 1 August and running through 1 November at the Grand Theater of Chungmu Art Center in Seoul, keeping the original's shape while adding the sensibility of the Korean production.
