Terms of Service

Effective: August 27, 2026

These terms govern the rights and obligations between K-pop Performance Info ("the Service") and you as a user.

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the Service, together with the rights and obligations of the Service and its users.

2. What the Service Provides

The Service is an information service that collects and organises performance and venue data published by KOPIS (Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System).

  • Search and detail pages for performances and venues
  • A weekly top-performances column and new-listing roundups
  • Visiting tips for venues
  • Favourites and criteria-based email alerts for signed-in users

3. Accuracy of Performance Information

Listings are collected from KOPIS open data on a periodic schedule, so they may differ from the current reality depending on when the source was updated and when we last synced.

Changes to dates, times, prices or venues — and cancellations — may not be reflected immediately.

You must confirm the details with the venue or the official ticket seller before booking or travelling. The Service does not warrant that the information is complete or accurate.

4. Ticketing and Payment

The Service does not sell tickets. Booking links shown on the Service point to third-party ticket sellers, which the Service does not operate.

Purchases, cancellations, refunds, delivery, and any dispute arising from them are strictly between you and that ticket seller. The Service accepts no liability for them.

5. Alerts

Alerts are sent by email when a performance matching your saved criteria is newly registered or updated.

They are dispatched on a daily cycle and may be delayed or missed due to network conditions, your mail provider, or delays in the upstream data. Delivery is not guaranteed.

6. Accounts

Accounts are created through Google sign-in; the Service never stores a password of its own.

You must not allow anyone else to use your account, and you are responsible for loss arising from failure to keep it secure.

To delete your account, contact us at the address below. Deletion also removes your favourites and alert settings.

7. User Obligations

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with normal operation of the Service, including bulk automated collection of its data
  • Use another person’s account without authorisation, or infringe others’ personal information
  • Exploit information provided by the Service commercially without the rights holder’s permission
  • Act in breach of applicable law or public order

8. Intellectual Property

Rights in the underlying performance data belong to KOPIS and the respective rights holders; rights in posters and other images belong to their respective owners.

Rights in editorial material written by the Service — columns and news posts — belong to the Service.

9. Changes to and Suspension of the Service

The Service is provided free of charge, and may be changed or discontinued in whole or in part for operational or technical reasons.

The Service is not liable where it cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond its control, including failures of the upstream data provider.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service exists to provide information. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, it is not liable for loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on that information.

11. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised where necessary. Any revision will be posted within the Service together with its effective date.

Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute will follow the procedures provided by applicable law.
