Privacy Policy

Effective: September 12, 2026

K-pop Performance Info ("the Service") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

You can browse performances and venues without signing in. In that case we collect no personal information.

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store the following:

  • Name, email address, and profile image URL
  • Your Google account identifier and authentication tokens, used to keep you signed in
  • Session information (session identifier and expiry)
  • Information you create yourself: favourited performances and venues, alert criteria (region, genre, keyword), and your language preference

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

  • Identifying your account and keeping you signed in
  • Showing your favourited performances and venues
  • Emailing you when a newly registered performance matches your alert criteria
  • Choosing the language for those alert emails
  • Diagnosing and fixing errors in the Service

3. Retention Period

We retain your information until you ask us to delete your account, at which point we delete it without undue delay.

Session records are removed automatically when they expire.

To close your account, contact us at the address below and we will delete the account together with your favourites and alert settings.

4. Third-Party Sharing and Processing

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing. We rely on the following processors to operate the Service:

  • Google LLC — Google account sign-in, web analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense)
  • NHN Cloud — delivery of alert emails
  • Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — error logging and diagnostics
  • Amazon Web Services — infrastructure hosting (Seoul region)

5. Source of Performance Data

Performance and venue listings come from KOPIS (Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System) public open data. This is published event information, not personal data.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Blocking it prevents sign-in from working.

Where web analytics (Google Analytics) is enabled, cookies are used to compile statistics such as pages visited, referring sites and device type. These statistics do not identify you and are used only to improve the Service.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

The information collected for this purpose is limited to pages visited, ads clicked, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. It is not combined with account information such as your name or email address. Retention follows each advertising vendor's own policy.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Opting out does not remove ads; it means the ads you see are not based on your interests.

In regions whose laws require prior consent — the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — we ask for your consent before cookies are used for personalised advertising. You can use the Service without giving it.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time.

Favourites and alert settings can be viewed and removed directly once signed in. For account deletion, please contact us.

8. Security Measures

  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
  • Access to personal information is kept to the minimum necessary
  • We never store passwords — authentication is delegated entirely to Google

9. Privacy Officer and Contact

We have designated a privacy officer who oversees the handling of personal information and responds to related complaints and requests.

  • Privacy officer: Kang Shin-wook (Representative)
  • Email: publicaikr@gmail.com

10. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version and its effective date within the Service.
