The story is set in 1953, 27 years after the disappearance, when Raymond, a writer in a slump, reopens the case to trace the nightmare that keeps haunting him. Moving between 1926 and 1953, and between reality and fantasy, it fills in the missing eleven days like a detective story. The production follows its 10th-anniversary season of 2023, and this year also marks 50 years since Agatha Christie's death (The Musical, October 22). For the first time, the role of Raymond, played until now by men, is cast gender-free with a female actor in the rotation.
