What is 〈LAYERING〉?

The title follows on from 'Layer', the EP Soran released on September 18. The official introduction describes 'Layer' as an album built up one layer at a time over the year, with the concert adding one more beautiful scene to it at the start of winter — "from Layer to LAYERING".

Soran became vocalist Go Young-bae's one-man band after bassist Seo Myeon-ho and guitarist Lee Tae-wook left following the January concert. That January show was Soran Winter Concert: DREAMeR at YES24 Live Hall, so 〈LAYERING〉 is the first winter concert under the one-person lineup. Sports Kyunghyang described 'Layer' as the first EP since the change.
