Synopsis
[공연소개] 뮤지컬 <긴긴밤>은 제21회 문학동네어린이문학상 대상 수상작 『긴긴밤』(글/그림 루리, 문학동네)을 원작으로 한 작품으로, 지구상에 남은 단 하나의 흰바위코뿔소 ‘노든’과 버려진 알에서 태어난 어린 ‘펭귄’이 수많은 긴긴밤을 거쳐 함께 바다를 찾아가는 과정을 무대 위에 그려낸다. [줄거리] 아프리카 코끼리 고아원에서 자라난 코뿔소 노든. 온갖 산전수전을 겪으며 살아남은 노든은 생각지도 못한 상황을 겪으며 버려진 알에서 태어난 새끼 펭귄을 떠맡게 된다. 모든 것이 다른 두 존재, 노든과 펭귄은 바다를 향해 함께 여정을 떠나게 되지만 끝없이 펼쳐진 사막을 지나 바다에 닿는 것은 쉽지 않다. 그렇게 긴긴밤을 함께 보내며, 노든은 펭귄에게 자신의 삶에 가득했던 어두운 밤들과 그럼에도 불구하고 반짝이던 순간들의 이야기를 전해준다.
