Synopsis

[공연소개] 조선시대 중엽 전라도 전주 서문 밖 20리 부근에 사는 퇴리 최만춘이 부인 조씨와 결혼하여 딸 콩쥐를 낳았으나, 콩쥐 어머니 조씨가 일찍이 병에 걸려 돌아가시자 팥쥐라는 딸을 데리고 온 배씨를 새어머니로 맞이한다. 그런데 새어머니는 착하고 예쁜 콩쥐를 무척 미워한다. 그러던 어느 날, 그 마을 젊은 사또님의 색시를 구하기 위한 잔치가 열린다. 새어머니는 콩쥐에게 많은 일을 시켜놓고 팥쥐와 잔치에 가게 된다. 힘들어하는 콩쥐는 황소, 두꺼비, 참새, 선녀님의 도움으로 잔치에 가게 되는데...
