Synopsis
[시놉시스] 18세기 후반의 나폴리, 두 젊은이, 페란도와 굴리에모는 각자의 약혼녀인 도라벨라와 피오르딜리지에 대해 이야기를 나누며 그들의 사랑을 확신한다. 하지만 알폰소는 여성들이 쉽게 마음을 바꿀 수 있다고 주장하며, 이를 실험해보자고 제안한다. 페란도와 굴리에모에게 각각 약혼녀를 떠나게 하고, 변장을 통해 서로의 약혼녀를 유혹하게 한다. 두 남자는 알폰소의 계략에 따라 각자 변장하고, 사건이 전개된다. 페란도와 굴리에모는 변장한 채 도라벨라와 피오르딜리지에게 접근하고, 두 자매는 새로운 남자에게 빠지게 되고 이로 인해 갈등과 혼란이 일어나며, 자매들은 자신들이 사랑했던 원래의 약혼자에게서 멀어지게 되는데..
