Synopsis
[공연소개] 2025년 국립합창단의 정기연주회 ‘낭만주의 거장의 합창음악’ 시리즈 세 번째 무대로, 체코의 위대한 작곡가 안토닌 드보르작(Antonin Dvoak, 1841~1904)의 Stabat Mater를 소개한다. 드보르작이 자녀를 잃은 개인적인 슬픔 속에서 작곡한 작품으로, 고통 속에서도 희망을 찾으려는 그의 음악적 메시지가 강하게 담겨 있다. 장엄한 합창과 서정적인 멜로디, 풍부한 오케스트레이션이 조화를 이루며, 드보르작 특유의 따뜻하고 인간적인 감성이 돋보이는 작품으로, 총 10개의 악장으로 구성되어 있으며 각 악장은 어머니의 슬픔을 다양한 음악적 색채로 표현한다. 슬픔을 승화시키는 음악의 힘과 낭만주의 합창음악의 정수를 보여준다.
