Jang Han-byul is headlining a concert under his own name for the first time. According to the exclusive-sale notice ticketLINK published on 23 September, "THE STAR IS BORN" plays twice on Saturday 31 October, at 1pm and 6pm, at Daeyang Hall at Sejong University. The running time is 120 minutes and the rating is ages 7 and up. LEON WORKS presents the show and Jun Company organises it. The poster released with the notice reads "장한별 첫번째 콘서트" (Jang Han-byul's first concert), with the venue, the date and both show times.
His agency, LEON WORKS, describes it as his first solo concert since his debut. Jang reached the top three of "Mumyeong Jeonseol", MBN's male vocal survival show, and recently won the final on KBS2's "Immortal Songs". Until now his biggest stage has been MBN's "Mumyeong Jeonseol" national tour concert, which the show's finalists play together. According to KOPIS, Korea's performing-arts record, that tour opened in Anyang on 13 June and runs until an encore in Busan on 31 December, with Jang on the cast list. Its next date is the Daegu encore on 21 November. "THE STAR IS BORN" is a separate show with a different presenter, and as of 26 September the 31 October concert was not yet registered in KOPIS.
The agency says the concert will move between ballad, trot and pop with a live band, and will include special stages seen only at this show. His official fandom is called "Eunhasu" (Milky Way). The set list and any guests have not been announced.
