According to a notice Ticketlink posted on 3 September, Kenny G Live in Seoul takes place at 8pm on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October at the main hall of Kwangwoon University Donghae Culture and Arts Center. The running time is 90 minutes and admission is for ages 13 and over.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Thursday 10 September, sold exclusively through Ticketlink. There are two seat grades: Seat P on the second tier at 157,000 won and Seat R on the third tier at 135,000 won.
The choice of venue stands out. The main hall is registered with KOPIS, Korea's performing-arts database, at 2,029 seats, less than half the 4,500 of Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace, where Kenny G played his Seoul show in April 2024. In exchange the concert is spread over two nights, trading one large hall for two evenings at closer range. KOPIS records show he played two nights each at Busan Citizens' Hall and Sejong University's Daeyang Hall in September 2022, and at BEXCO and the Grand Peace Palace in April 2024.
The introduction in Ticketlink's notice describes Kenny G as a performer with more than 75 million records sold, including Breathless, the best-selling instrumental album of all time, and the holiday standard Miracles: The Holiday Album. Going Home and Songbird remain his best-known pieces, and his twentieth studio album, Innocence, reworks lullabies and classical melodies in his own style. He continues to collaborate with artists such as The Weeknd and Jon Batiste.
