Musical Majesty opens ticket sales on 28 September ahead of 25 October Daehakro premiere

The show runs from 25 October to 15 November at the Woori Card Hall of NOL Theater Daehakro in Seoul, and this sale covers the whole run. VIP seats cost KRW 120,000, R seats KRW 90,000 and S seats KRW 60,000. It runs 160 minutes including a 20-minute interval and is open to primary-school age and above.
Performances are at 7:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 2:30pm and 7:30pm on Wednesdays; and 2pm and 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with no show on Mondays. Opening night, Sunday 25 October, has a single 7pm performance.
Majesty is based on Norton I, the real man who proclaimed himself Emperor of the United States in 19th-century San Francisco. It was selected for the 2026 Large-Scale Musical Pilot Performance Support programme, organised by the Korea Arts Management Service and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and premieres as a tryout. Double K Entertainment is producing.
Under the casting announced earlier, Um Ki-joon and Park Jae-yoon share the role of Norton, and Park Jung-won and Kim Woo-seok share the cub reporter Arthur. Kim Soo-ro of Double K Entertainment is both producer and on stage as Galahad. The book and lyrics are by Kim Sung-yeon, music by Kim Eun-young, choreography by Shin Sun-ho, and direction by Sung Jong-wan.
