Mulasaki Ima sets first solo concert in Korea for 12 December at YES24 Wonderrock Hall

Mulasaki Ima is bringing a solo show to Korea for the first time. “Mulasaki Ima ONE MAN TOUR 2026 ‘PURPLE SHELTER -ep.1- EXTRA’ in Seoul” runs 90 minutes at 6 p.m. on Saturday 12 December at YES24 Wonderrock Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. The live-entertainment brand LIVET announced the concert on 16 September, and tickets opened exclusively on YES24 Ticket at 8 p.m. on 23 September.

Who is Mulasaki Ima?

Mulasaki Ima is a Japanese singer-songwriter who writes, composes and arranges every song and also produces the artwork and music videos. The husky voice spans five octaves, with shouting, fakes and whistle notes. The debut came in March 2023 with the digital single “Golden Time”, and the music videos for “Mashou no Onna A” (2024) and “Uwasa no Ano Ko” (2025) each passed 10 million views, two years running. Solo shows in Japan sold out in both 2024 and 2025, and Mulasaki Ima played Japan’s SUMMER SONIC festival two years in a row.

In Korea, Mulasaki Ima first drew attention in 2025 as a lyricist on ILLIT’s Japanese debut title track, “Toki yo Tomare” (“Time, Stand Still”).

Has Mulasaki Ima performed in Korea before?

This is the artist’s first solo concert in Korea, but the third appearance on a Korean stage: the Korean debut came at WONDERLIVET 2025, the first festival outside Japan on the résumé, and in 2026 came the opening slot at KSPO DOME (Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena) for Seoul Jazz Festival 2026. The December show is the first headline concert in the country.
