According to the notice on its official performance page, Arts Center Incheon hosts the Philadelphia Orchestra at 7.30pm on Thursday 5 November in the Concert Hall, conducted by Marin Alsop with Yunchan Lim at the piano. The concert opens with Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor.

What makes the pairing notable is that choice of work. According to the description carried by the seller NOL Ticket, the two first met at the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, where Lim, then eighteen, played this concerto in front of Alsop — jury chair and conductor of the final — and won. This is the same conductor and the same piece, met again.

After the interval comes an orchestral programme under Alsop: Samuel Barber's Symphony No. 1, completed when the composer was twenty-five, followed by Stravinsky's Firebird suite — Barber's compression of symphonic structure into a single movement set against Stravinsky's Russian folk tale in full orchestral colour. The concert runs 120 minutes including a 15-minute interval, and admission is for primary-school age and above.

The detail worth noting is that the date carrying Lim's name on this visit is the Incheon one.
