A concert built entirely from Song Chang-sik's songs is coming to Seoul. According to a notice Ticketlink posted on the morning of 8 September, the Seoul date of Song Chang-sik with friends: Gagaek takes place at 6pm on Saturday 14 November at Yonsei University Grand Auditorium. The running time is 100 minutes and admission is for ages 7 and over.
The draw of this Seoul date is who joins him. His long-time partner Ham Chun-ho brings his band, and Park Seung-hwa of Yurisangja sings the songs Song recorded with Twin Folio. The notice mentions a special guest but does not give a name.
Gagaek is not new. KOPIS, Korea's performing-arts database, lists Gagaek: Song Chang-sik with friends in Goyang, which played Aram Theater at Goyang Aram Nuri on 5 September with Ahn Ye-eun, Ham Chun-ho, Park Seung-jin and Lee Se-jun of Yurisangja alongside Song. The brand stays the same while the guests change from date to date, and so do the prices: the Goyang date was 143,000 won for R seats, against 132,000 won in Seoul, while S seats are 121,000 won at both.
The Seoul concert is produced by ENTJ and presented by Hanul Entertainment. KOPIS also lists an Autumn Folk Concert on 16 October at the grand theatre of Pocheon Banwol Art Hall, where Song appears with Jung Mi-jo and Ham Chun-ho's band, so his autumn has more than one date in it. The Seoul date has not yet been registered on KOPIS.
