24 actors, 24 performances: White Rabbit Red Rabbit moves to the Seoul Arts Center

According to a notice posted on 15 September by the ticketing platform Ticketlink, White Rabbit Red Rabbit runs from Tuesday 29 September to Friday 16 October at the Jayu Theater of the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Tickets open at 2pm on Friday 18 September.

The production has spent its two most recent seasons at the Sejong Center. KOPIS shows them running from 30 April to 25 May 2025 and from 27 May to 7 June 2026, both at the S Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Brush Theatre produces and presents all three seasons. The new run also opens less than four months after the previous one closed.

The pricing has changed too. KOPIS and the Ticketlink product pages show a single price of 60,000 won for every seat in the two most recent seasons, whereas the Jayu Theater run is split into R seats at 60,000 won and S seats at 50,000 won. The running time is about 80 minutes, which the presenter says "varies by actor". The age guidance is middle-school students and older, meaning those born in 2012 or earlier.

The rules of the piece, as the presenter describes them, are simple. The actor walks on without knowing the play, receives the script on the spot and fills 80 minutes with the audience without rehearsal. An actor who has performed it can never perform it again. Written by the Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, the play is built around an experiment in which a carrot on a ladder and cold water turn a group of white rabbits against a red one, and asks how far the actor on stage and the audience in the seats will follow instructions.
