Synopsis
[공연소개] “벌레 같네. 응. 우리는 벌레야. 노동자는 벌레야. 그렇게 말하며 벌레가 되어버린다.” 〈영원한 노동 (Eternal Labor)〉은 세계의 부정적 유산을 추적한 《GHOST OF MODERN》(2013) 이후, OLTA가 지속적으로 탐구해 온 근대에서 현대로 이어지는 이데올로기의 문제를 더욱 깊이 파고든 최신작이다. 일본 열도에서 한반도에 이르는 리서치를 바탕으로, 일본 제국 시대의 지배와 현대의 분단, 연속성, 경제 발전의 이면에서 이루어진 착취와 노동의 문제를 현대 여성의 신체와 겹쳐 그려낸다. 대상화된 여성, 임신 가능한 몸, 성차별과 권력 구조 등 사회 속에 잠재된 문제들을 중심으로, 전시와 공연이라는 두 가지 형식을 통해, OLTA 특유의 시공간을 넘나드는 다층적인 시선과 유머로 무의미한 노동과 소비적인 삶의 근원에 다가간다.
