Parking at BEXCO costs 450 KRW per 10 minutes for a standard car and 900 KRW for a large one, capped at 15,000 and 30,000 KRW a day. Leaving within 15 minutes is free, and the EV chargers are only at Exhibition Centre 2 and the Auditorium. Every figure below was checked against BEXCO's official parking guidance and its facilities pages in August 2026.

How much is parking at BEXCO, and how is it charged?

450 KRW per 10 minutes for a standard vehicle, 900 KRW for a large one. It is metered by time, but a daily cap means an all-day stay never exceeds 15,000 KRW (standard) or 30,000 KRW (large).

ClassPer 10 minDaily (24h)Monthly
Standard (cars, vans under 25 seats, trucks under 2.5t)450 KRW15,000 KRW150,000 KRW
Large (vans 25 seats and over, trucks 2.5t and over)900 KRW30,000 KRW280,000 KRW

One thing worth flagging: many guides still quote 400 KRW per 10 minutes, but BEXCO's official parking page now says 450. That was verified in August 2026 — budgeting from an older article will leave you short.

Is it really free if I leave within 15 minutes?

Yes. Exit within 15 minutes of entry and nothing is charged, which covers dropping someone or something off.

The trap is at the other end. Once you have paid at a pre-payment machine the grace period is 20 minutes, and going over it re-applies the full rate. Paying up, then stopping at the toilets, is how people get caught.

The car parks run 24 hours, though hours can be adjusted for demand. Old magnetic parking tickets can be exchanged for the new type at the Exhibition Centre 1 B1 parking office until 31 December 2026.

Who gets a discount, and how?

There are seven, and they do not stack. Proof must be shown when you pay; nothing is applied retroactively after you leave.

EligibilityBenefitProof
Disabled drivers1 hour free + 50% afterWelfare card (vehicle sticker not accepted)
National merit recipients1 hour free + 50% afterMerit card
Large families (Busan residents)50%Card or app

Low-emission class 1 (EV, hydrogen)50%Certification sticker
EV drivers who charged3 hours free (once daily)Charging record
Performance attendees3,000 or 6,000 KRWPre-paid vehicles only

Two details diverge from what the Korean guides say. First, the performance discount is set by event length, not genre — the official guidance gives 3,000 KRW for a 2.5-hour event and 6,000 KRW for a 5-hour one, rather than "3,000 for a children's musical". Second, and absent from every blog we checked, event-setup vehicles on 80- and 90-series plates get a 3-hour discount applied automatically at the loading car parks. The restriction that the disabled, merit and large-family discounts apply only to non-commercial passenger cars is also official-page-only.

Where can I charge an electric car?

In the underground car parks at Exhibition Centre 2 and the Auditorium. The outdoor car parks and Exhibition Centre 1 have none, which BEXCO attributes to electrical capacity.

This matters for your route. Exhibition Centre 1 and Exhibition Centre 2 are not connected to each other, while Exhibition Centre 1 and the Auditorium are. So if you are visiting Exhibition Centre 1 and need a charge, park under the Auditorium.

There is also a separate 50% low-emission discount, but the two do not stack — if you actually charged, the three free hours are usually worth more.

The charger locations come from a BEXCO answer published in 2022, so more may have been installed since. Call 051-740-7300 before you go.

Where are the lockers, and how many are there?

There are five banks of paid digital lockers, 124 compartments in total. They are usually described as "four locations" because Exhibition Centre 1 has two on the same floor — four by building and floor, five by locker bank.

LocationPositionCompartments

Rates are 1,000 KRW small, 2,000 KRW medium, 3,000 KRW large.

The two largest banks — 36 compartments each — are beside Hall 1 and Hall 4F, so head for those first if you are carrying something big.

What if the lockers are full?

Two Line 2 stations are the fallback.

StationFrom BEXCOPositionSmallLarge (incl. XL)
BEXCO (Museum of Art)~281 mB1, towards exit 51814 (2 XL)
Centum City~374 mB1, near the GS257042 (14 XL)

Three hours costs 2,500 KRW small, 4,500 large and 6,000 XL on a weekday; at weekends large rises to 4,950 and XL to 6,600. Small is unchanged.

The compartment counts settle the choice. Centum City has 112 against BEXCO station's 32 — more than triple. On a big event day, the slightly longer walk is far less likely to be wasted.

Which car park should I drive into?

Pick by destination before you set off. Exhibition Centre 1 and Exhibition Centre 2 are not connected, so arriving at the wrong one means leaving and driving round.

DestinationCar park
Exhibition Centre 1Outdoor (east/centre) or B1
Exhibition Centre 2B1–B2

For a large event, check BEXCO's live traffic page before leaving. It streams CCTV from the main gates alongside the status of the general, loading and bicycle parking areas, so you can pick an entrance in advance.

Which hall will my concert be in?

Almost always the Auditorium. KOPIS registers it at 4,002 seats, and our database records 87 performances staged at BEXCO.

KOPIS puts BEXCO's total at 40,002 seats, but that figure cannot be used as it stands: Exhibition Centre 1's 18,000 already contains Hall 1's 6,000 and Hall 3's 6,000, so the same space is counted twice. Exhibition halls are seated afresh for each event anyway, which makes a fixed seat count a loose idea there. For judging a concert, the one meaningful number is the Auditorium's 4,002.

In short

  1. Parking is 450/900 KRW per 10 minutes, capped at 15,000/30,000 a day, free within 15 minutes.
  2. EV charging exists only at Exhibition Centre 2 and the Auditorium, and the 3 free hours do not stack with the 50% low-emission discount.
  3. There are five locker banks totalling 124 compartments; the two 36-compartment banks are beside Hall 1 and Hall 4F.

Parking, discount and locker details were compiled in August 2026 by cross-checking BEXCO's official parking and facilities guidance; the hall figures come from KOPIS registration data. Rates change — 051-740-7300 is the reliable answer on the day.
