Changwon Convention Center has one car park entrance, on the east gate side, with 915 spaces from B1 to the third floor. A passenger car pays 500 won for the first 30 minutes and 200 won per 10 minutes after that, fixed at the 6,000 won daily cap from about five hours ten minutes. Getting to an expo or a concert at Changwon Convention Center (CECO) usually stalls on two questions: where the car park entrance is, and which floor your hall is on.

Where is the entrance to the Changwon Convention Center car park, and how many cars fit?
There is one entrance, on the east gate (동문) side of the centre, and 915 spaces spread from B1 up to the third floor. CECO's own FAQ states it in the same words, and the parking payment office sits just left of that east-gate entrance. Setting a navigation app to the venue name alone and arriving at the main gate on Wonidae-ro leaves you with nowhere to turn in.
| Car park | Floors | Spaces |
|---|---|---|
| P1 | 1F–2F | part of the 290 on 1F |
| P2 | 1F–3F | up to 110 on 3F |
| P3 | B1 only | 215 |
| By floor | B1 215 · 1F 290 · 2F 300 · 3F 110 | 915 total |

How much does parking cost at Changwon Convention Center, and when does the daily cap apply?
For a passenger car it is 500 won for the first 30 minutes, then 200 won per 10 minutes, capped at 6,000 won per day. Leave within 15 minutes of entering and it is free. CECO runs a ticketless licence-plate camera system, so there is no parking ticket to keep hold of.
| Vehicle | First 30 min | Each 10 min after | Daily | Monthly pass |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Passenger car | 500 won | 200 won | 6,000 won | 60,000 won |
| Small van or truck | 500 won | 200 won | 6,000 won | 60,000 won |
| Large van or truck | 1,000 won | 400 won | 12,000 won | 90,000 won |
A van counts as small at 15 seats or fewer and large above that. A truck counts as small at 1 tonne or under and large above it.
It helps to know when the daily cap actually bites. Three hours costs 3,500 won and five hours costs 5,900 won. The next 10 minutes would take it to 6,100 won, so from roughly five hours and ten minutes the charge is fixed at the 6,000 won daily rate. If you plan to stay past midday, treat it as a flat 6,000 won.

One recent change matters. CECO's parking fee page carries a footnote that, following a revision to the car park operating rules, the car park became fully chargeable from 1 August 2026, except on the days of the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays themselves. Do not turn up expecting the free parking you may remember.
If you are attending as an organiser and need parking vouchers to hand out, you can buy them in advance at the first-floor parking office (055-212-1037). An organiser can also cover parking outright, at 2,750,000 won per day or 1,000,000 won for five hours, VAT included. Hall and meeting-room tenants get free parking registrations too: 10 vehicles a day each for Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, five a day for Hall 3, and from five to ten a day for the Convention Hall depending on how many rooms are taken.
How much of a parking discount do compact and electric cars get?
Two official CECO pages give different answers for compact cars, so both are recorded here. The fee table, which cites the enforcement rules of the city ordinance, lists only a 70% reduction for a compact car, rounded down to the nearest 50 won. The FAQ instead answers that a compact car parks free for the first four hours and then gets 70% off. Confirm which applies at the exit booth.
| Eligible | Reduction |
|---|---|
| National merit recipients, Agent Orange sufferers, 18 May injured | Waived |
| Compact cars | 70% off (the FAQ adds a first four hours free) |
| Disabled badge, senior driver or expectant mother sticker | 50% off |
| Low-emission vehicles | 50% off, first hour waived when charging |
| Organ donors, Gyeongnam i-Danuri card, volunteers, military merit families | 50% off |
Only one reduction applies even if you qualify under several. When an electric car is parked to charge, the first hour is waived first and the percentage applies to what remains. Certificates and stickers are checked at the exit booth, so leave them in the car.
Which floor are Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3 on, and which car park is closest?
Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3 and the Convention Hall are all on the third floor. If you are heading for Exhibition Hall 3 or meeting rooms 600A/B and 700A/B, drive past P1 and P2, park in P3 on B1, and take the P3 lift. That route is the one CECO's own FAQ gives. For Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, P1 and P2 are the better choice.

| Floor | What is there |
|---|---|
| 8–10F | Offices |
| 7F | Meeting rooms 700A/B |
| 6F | Meeting rooms 601–607, 600A/B |
| 3F | Convention Hall, meeting rooms 301–302, Exhibition Halls 1–3 |
| 1F | Car parks 1 and 2, permanent exhibition, buffet, gift shop, bank, cafe, luggage lockers |
| B1 | Car park 3 (P3) |
How big are Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3, and how many people fit in each?
The indoor exhibition space totals 9,375㎡, holds 500 booths at 3m × 3m, and seats up to 10,400 theatre-style. It is column-free throughout, with ceilings from 9.5m to 16m. CECO's exhibition hall page also publishes a capacity for each hall separately, and those numbers are rarely quoted anywhere.
| Hall | Size | Area | Booths | Theatre | Classroom | Banquet |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exhibition Hall 1 | 54m × 72m | 3,914㎡ | 210 | 3,500 | 2,800 | 1,300 |
| Exhibition Hall 2 | 54m × 70m | 3,806㎡ | 200 | 2,800 | 1,440 | 1,200 |
| Exhibition Hall 3 | 53m × 31m | 1,656㎡ | 90 | 1,400 | 750 | 500 |
| All three | — | 9,375㎡ | 500 | 10,400 | 5,800 | 3,900 |
One thing is worth pointing out. The three halls add up to 7,700 theatre-style, while the combined figure is 10,400. Classroom seating is 4,990 against 5,800, and banquet 3,000 against 3,900. Opening all three returns the partition lines and circulation routes to seating, which means estimating the size of a combined-hall event by adding the individual hall figures will understate it.
Our own KOPIS venue registration also records 10,400 seats for the Changwon Convention Center exhibition space. That is exactly the operator's theatre-style capacity, which makes this one of the rare cases where the two sources agree to the seat.

Support facilities include four organiser offices, three storage rooms, two box offices with back-of-house rooms, and three loading docks. For a ticketed event, finding the box office in advance saves queueing time. There is also a separate outdoor exhibition ground of 1,680㎡.
What is the sightline like when a concert is held in an exhibition hall?
An exhibition hall is not a purpose-built theatre. Chairs go on a flat floor rather than a rake, so seats towards the back can be blocked by the person in front, and whether your block is on a riser matters more than which block it is. In exchange, there is not a single column to obstruct the view.

Ceilings up to 16m mean full-size trusses and laser rigs can be hung as they are. For a show with a standing section, the flat floor can work in your favour.

How many people does the Convention Hall hold?
The Convention Hall is 1,653㎡, divides into three rooms, and holds up to 1,500 theatre-style with all three open. It is the largest meeting room CECO has, used mostly for academic conferences, award ceremonies and banquets. It has eight simultaneous interpretation booths, a dedicated VIP room and its own lobby.
| Configuration | Theatre | Classroom | Banquet |
|---|---|---|---|
| One room (Ⅰ / Ⅱ / Ⅲ) | 550 | 300 | 250 |
| Two rooms (Ⅰ+Ⅱ or Ⅱ+Ⅲ) | 1,000 | 520 | 500 |
| All three | 1,500 | 1,000 | 800 |

Where are the luggage lockers and what hours do they keep?
The luggage store is on the first floor beside the east gate information desk, behind escalator number 2, and it is open 24 hours. CECO's amenities page states both the location and the hours plainly. If you have read elsewhere that the location is not published, that information is out of date.
A few other things live on the same floor.
| Facility | Location | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Luggage store | 1F, beside the east gate desk, behind escalator 2 | 24 hours |
| Information desk | 1F main gate and 1F east gate | 09:00–18:00 |
| Pram and wheelchair hire | 1F, beside the central information desk | 09:00–18:00 |
| Book Lounge (Lounge C) | New wing, 1F | 10:00–18:00, closed Seollal and Chuseok |
The east gate desk also lends out luggage trolleys; you fill in a form on the spot. Worth remembering if an expo is likely to leave you carrying more than you arrived with. For wi-fi, join Ceco_visit and log in with ceco as both the ID and the password, repeating the login every hour.
How far is Changwon Convention Center from the KTX station?
The nearest is Changwon Jungang station, 5km away and about 10 minutes by car. The address is 362 Wonidae-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do (51408), and the main number is 055-212-1000.
| From | Distance | By car | City bus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Changwon Jungang station | 5km | about 10 min | 220, 221 |
| Changwon station | 6.5km | about 15 min | 109, 113, BRT |
| Masan station | 9.7km | about 20 min | 103, 109, 113, BRT |
Changwon intercity bus terminal is 2km and about five minutes by car; Gimhae International Airport is 35km and about 40 minutes. On a big expo or concert day the 915 spaces fill faster than you would expect, which makes public transport the safer call.
