EXCO Daegu: which of the three car parks to use
Parking at EXCO comes down to whether your hall is in the West Wing or the East Wing. Exhibition Halls 1-3 plus the Convention Hall, Auditorium and Grand Ballroom are West Wing (Gates 1-4); Halls 4-6 are East Wing (Gates 7-9); and the three car parks do not connect. As of September 2026 the rate is 450 won per 10 minutes, capped at 5,000 won a day if you show a performance ticket.

EXCO is not one building. It is two — the West Wing and the East Wing — and its three car parks are not connected to each other. Park in the wrong one and you will be walking around the outside of the complex with your bags, so check the hall name on your ticket before you set off.
Every fee and facility figure below was checked against EXCO's own website on 9 September 2026, and the per-hall performance counts are our own tally of the 71 EXCO shows registered with KOPIS.

Why is EXCO split into a West Wing and an East Wing?
The hall numbers are the shortcut. Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3 are in the West Wing; Halls 4, 5 and 6 are in the East Wing. The two performance rooms — the Convention Hall and the Auditorium — and the Grand Ballroom are all in the West Wing.
The two wings even have different street addresses, so typing just "EXCO" into a navigation app can send you to the wrong side.
| Wing | Address | Main facilities |
|---|---|---|
| West Wing (Exhibition Centre 1) | 10 EXCO-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu | Exhibition Halls 1-3, Convention Hall, Auditorium, Grand Ballroom, meeting rooms |
| East Wing (Exhibition Centre 2) | 110 Yutongdanji-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu | Exhibition Halls 4-6 |
The West Wing stacks up like this.
| Floor | West Wing facilities |
|---|---|
| 5F | Convention Hall, Auditorium, meeting rooms 503-506 |
| 3-4F | Grand Ballroom (306, 314-315), meeting rooms 320-325 |
| 1-2F | Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3, meeting room 211 |
| B1-B2 | West Wing Car Park 2, EXCO furniture mall (B2) |
| B3-B4 | West Wing Car Park 1 |
The East Wing has Exhibition Halls 4, 5 and 6 on level 1, with Car Park 3 on B1 and on the surface outside.

The West Wing exhibition floor totals 14,415 sqm and the East Wing 15,024 sqm, so the newer wing is slightly larger. Two things in the official spec tables are worth knowing.
| Hall 3 | Hall 2 | Hall 1 | West total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Area (sqm) | 4,410 | 4,834 | 5,171 | 14,415 |
| Theatre-style convention | 2,700 | 2,500 | 2,800 | 8,000 |
| Performance | 5,000 | 4,000 | not listed | 9,000 |
| Banquet | 1,200 | 1,300 | 1,500 | 4,000 |
| Booths | 200 | 250 | 250 | 700 |
| Ceiling height | 9.6m (Hall 3C 4m) | 13-17m | 13-17m | — |
| Floor load | 1.5t/sqm (Hall 3C 0.25) | 2.5t/sqm | 2.5t/sqm | — |
| Hall 4 | Hall 5 | Hall 6 | East total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Area (sqm) | 4,937 | 4,966 | 5,121 | 15,024 |
| Theatre-style convention | 2,800 | 2,800 | 2,800 | 8,400 |
| Performance | 4,000 | 4,000 | 4,000 | 12,000 |
| Banquet | 1,500 | 1,500 | 1,500 | 4,500 |
| Booths | 250 | 250 | 250 | 750 |
| Ceiling height | 15.3-20.3m | 15.3-20.3m | 15.3-20.3m | — |
| Floor load | 3t/sqm | 3t/sqm | 3t/sqm | — |
First, the West Wing exhibition halls have their own performance capacities too. Hall 3 seats 5,000 and Hall 2 seats 4,000, for a listed total of 9,000; Hall 1 has no performance figure at all. The East Wing's 12,000 is the number most guides quote, but thousands-strong concerts fit in the West Wing halls as well.
Second, the floor load differs by hall. It is often summarised as "2.5t/sqm in West Wing Halls 2 and 3", but the official table gives Hall 3 as 1.5t/sqm, with Hall 3C at 0.25. The 2.5t/sqm halls are 1 and 2, and the three East Wing halls are the strongest at 3t/sqm — which is why car and machinery shows end up there.
One note on the source: EXCO's own table gives a West Wing classroom-style total of 1,900, which does not match the sum of its own columns (1,800 + 1,900 + 2,200 = 5,900), so we left that row out above.

Which hall will my concert actually be in?
"A concert at EXCO" makes most people picture the Auditorium, but more than half the time it is somewhere else. We counted all 71 EXCO performances registered with KOPIS between January 2025 and December 2026, by hall.
| Hall | Performances | Share | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auditorium | 26 | 37% | West Wing 5F |
| Convention Hall | 17 | 24% | West Wing 5F |
| Exhibition Centre 2 (East Wing) | 16 | 23% | East Wing 1F |
| Exhibition Centre 1 (West Wing) | 6 | 8% | West Wing 1-2F |
| Exhibition Hall 4 | 3 | 4% | East Wing 1F |
| Exhibition Hall 6 | 2 | 3% | East Wing 1F |
| Grand Ballroom B | 1 | 1% | West Wing 3F |
In short, seven of every ten shows are in the West Wing (50 of 71, 70%) and three are in the East Wing (21, 30%). The Auditorium is the single most-used room and it still accounts for only 37%. If your ticket says "Exhibition Centre" or "Exhibition Centre 2", you want the East Wing and Gates 7, 8 or 9.
You can see what is on at EXCO on our EXCO venue page, and everything in Daegu on the Daegu performance list.
How many seats do the EXCO performance halls have?
Where EXCO's own figures and the KOPIS registration differ, here is both.
| Hall | EXCO official | Registered with KOPIS | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auditorium | 1,572 | 1,304 | KOPIS records only the tiered seats |
| Convention Hall | 3,500 | 3,500 | Includes 2,016 tiered seats |
| Grand Ballroom B | 1,000 theatre-style | 1,000 | Agree |
| Exhibition Centre 1 (West) | 9,000 for performances | 9,000 | Halls 2 and 3 combined |
| Exhibition Centre 2 (East) | 12,000 for performances | 12,000 | Halls 4, 5 and 6 combined |
Both Auditorium numbers are correct. The official 1,572 is the full house including 12 wheelchair spaces, of which 1,304 are on the fixed rake; the rest are movable seats on the flat floor and come out for some events. If a ticketing site shows about 1,300 seats, it is almost certainly selling the tiered configuration only.
One more caveat. Our own data lists EXCO as 12 halls totalling 49,714 seats, and that total is not a number of people who can be in the building at once. Exhibition Centre 1's 9,000 is the sum of Halls 2 and 3, and Exhibition Centre 2's 12,000 is the sum of Halls 4, 5 and 6, so the same floor space is counted twice. The realistic simultaneous maximum is nearer 21,000 — 9,000 in the West Wing plus 12,000 in the East.

The Grand Ballroom rarely gets written up, so here are its official figures.
| A+B | A | B | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Area | 3,872 sqm (3,242 lettable) | 1,936 sqm | 1,936 sqm (1,306 lettable) |
| Ceiling height | 8.1m | 8.1m | 8.1m |
| Theatre-style | 2,200 | 1,200 | 1,000 |
| Classroom-style | 1,300 | 700 | 600 |
| Banquet | 1,020 | 600 | 420 |
Floor load is 1.5t/sqm, with four organiser offices including two green rooms.

Which of the three car parks should I use?
EXCO has West Wing Car Parks 1 and 2 and East Wing Car Park 3, 1,843 spaces in total. And none of the three connects to the others.
| Car park | Location | Spaces | Entry gate | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| West Wing Car Park 1 | West Wing B3-B4 | 736 | Gate 4 | Exhibition Hall 3, Grand Ballroom, furniture mall |
| West Wing Car Park 2 | West Wing B1-B2 | 667 | Gates 1, 2, 3 | Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, Convention Hall, Auditorium |
| East Wing Car Park 3 | East Wing B1 and surface | 139 surface, 301 basement | Gates 7, 8, 9 | Exhibition Halls 4, 5 and 6 |
There is a reason the West Wing has two separate car parks. What EXCO calls the "West Wing" is really two structures, the original building and the annexe. Its CCTV disclosure lists cameras as 258 in the West Wing main building, 156 in the West Wing annexe and 98 in the East Wing, and the parking offices are listed separately as "main building B3-B4" and "annexe B1". Car Park 1 (B3-B4) sits under the main building and Car Park 2 (B1-B2) under the annexe, which is why their levels do not overlap.

One feature on the official site is worth using before you leave. EXCO's parking page asks which facility you are visiting and which direction you are coming from, and then shows the approach diagram for that combination. The three approaches are Buk-Daegu IC / Sincheon-daero, Dongdaegu Station / Bokhyeon Intersection, and Daegu International Airport / Dodong IC / Palgong IC. The same hall is reached differently depending on your approach, so this beats picking a gate from the hall name alone. The same page shows live congestion per car park — though the East Wing surface lot is not included in it.
One figure does not reconcile. EXCO's East Wing exhibition spec sheet lists parking as 460 spaces, while the approach diagram's 139 surface plus 301 basement comes to 440. The 20-space gap makes no practical difference, but it is worth saying which source you are quoting.
The car parks have 512 CCTV cameras and footage is kept for 30 days. Entry and exit use licence-plate recognition, so there is no ticket to take.
What does parking at EXCO cost?
Official rates as of September 2026.
| Rate | |
|---|---|
| Standard vehicle | 450 won per 10 minutes |
| Full day | 12,000 won |
| Monthly pass | 100,000 won |
| Compact, low-emission class 1, disabled and veterans | 50% off |
| Concert, performance and long-run event ticket holders | 5,000 won maximum per day (ticket required) |
| EV while charging | free for the first hour |
| Exit within 15 minutes of entry | free |
If you are here for a show, bring the ticket. The 5,000 won daily cap only applies when you present one. Low-emission class 1 requires the sticker; the disabled and veterans' discount requires the certificate and the holder to be in the car.
Prepaid parking vouchers are also sold.
| Voucher | 1 hour | 2 hours | 3 hours | 4 hours | All day |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | 2,700 won | 5,400 won | 8,100 won | 10,800 won | 12,000 won |
Buy more than 500,000 won worth and you get 5% off; the seller is the parking customer centre on 053-601-5110.
The East Wing loading car park is priced differently: 450 won per 10 minutes for the first hour, 900 won per 10 minutes after that, and 24,000 won for a full day. Goods vehicles leaving within three hours pay nothing.
Pay at a pre-payment machine inside the building or at the exit booth, by card, cash or mobile payment. After paying in advance you have 15 minutes to leave before extra charges start. When a show lets out all at once, paying early is what shortens your wait at the exit. The parking office is 053-601-5100 and the safety operations office is 053-601-5044.
Where can I charge an electric car?
| Location | Level | Chargers |
|---|---|---|
| West Wing Car Park 1 | B3 | 3 fast, 3 slow |
| West Wing Car Park 2 | B1 | 3 slow, 6 Tesla Superchargers |
| East Wing car park | 1F | 4 fast |
| East Wing car park | B1 | 3 fast, 3 slow |
The six Tesla Superchargers are only in West Wing Car Park 2, on B1. If you drive a Tesla and need a charge, that lot is worth considering even for an East Wing event. For fast chargers it is the other way round: the East Wing has more (4 on 1F, 3 on B1).
Note that EXCO's own pages call this third car park "East Wing Car Park 2" in the EV list and "Car Park 3" on the approach diagram. They are the same place.
Where can I leave my bags?
Trade shows are the kind of event where your bags multiply. Both wings have lockers.
| Facility | Location | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Lockers | West Wing 1F, the East-West connecting corridor | one use, until 24:00 same day |
| Lockers | West Wing 1F, opposite Exhibition Hall 2 | one use, until 24:00 same day |
| Lockers | East Wing 1F, opposite the gap between Halls 4 and 5 | — |
| Parcel lockers | West Wing 1F, opposite the gap between Halls 2 and 3A | — |
West Wing level 1 also has these.
| Facility | Location | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Information desk | Opposite the gap between Halls 2 and 3A | 09:00-18:00 (053-601-5000) |
| ATM, iM Bank | Beside the Hall 2 entrance | — |
| ATM, Woori Bank | In front of the Hall 3B entrance | — |
| Family nursing room | In front of the Hall 1A entrance | 09:00-18:00 |
| First aid room | Beside the Hall 1A entrance | 09:00-18:00 |
| EXCO rest area | Opposite Hall 3B | 09:00-18:00 |
| Clean-air rest area | Level 1 outdoors, beside Gate 3 | 09:00-18:00 |
| Business lounge | West Wing 3F, opposite lifts 12 and 13 | 09:00-18:00 |
The clean-air rest area is a government-certified heatwave and cold-snap shelter. Useful to know when you have to queue outdoors in midsummer or midwinter.
East Wing level 1 has its own information desk beside the Hall 5 entrance (053-601-5289), the Daegu-Gyeongbuk tourist information centre (053-601-5237) and a family nursing room beside the Hall 6 entrance.
The EXCO furniture mall on West Wing B2 opens 10:00-19:30 and closes on the fourth Wednesday of each month; the nearest car park is Car Park 1 on B3-B4.

How do I get there without a car?
By EXCO's own listing, the city bus routes that serve EXCO are 300, 304, 306, 320, 413, 653, 937 and Buk-gu 2. Routes 323, 323-1, 503 and Sunhwan 2-1, which other guides often list, are not on that list — they appear only as transfer legs in EXCO's point-to-point table.
| From | Distance | Bus | By bus | By taxi |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daegu International Airport | 4km | 719 to 503, 719 to 937, Dong-gu 2 to 503, 401 to 323-1 | about 30 min | about 20 min |
| Dongdaegu Station | 5km | 413, Sunhwan 2-1, 937 | about 30 min | about 15 min |
| Daegu Station | 5.5km | 653, 304 | about 35 min | about 15 min |
| Dongdaegu Transfer Centre | 6km | 413, Sunhwan 2-1, 937 | about 30 min | about 20 min |
| Banwoldang Station | 8.3km | Express 2 to 653, 730 to 653, 706 to 653 | about 35 min | about 30 min |
EXCO has no subway station yet. The nearest one, Banwoldang, is 8.3km away, so the metro alone will not get you there and a bus transfer is unavoidable. An EXCO station is planned on Daegu Urban Railway Line 4, but it is not in service.
On days when several large shows overlap, the queue to get into a car park can be long — and Dongdaegu Station is only about 15 minutes away by taxi. Worth factoring in.
What are the three things to check before I go?
- Let the hall number pick the wing. Exhibition Halls 1-3 plus the Convention Hall, Auditorium and Grand Ballroom are West Wing; Halls 4-6 are East Wing.
- Enter through that wing's gate. West Wing is Gates 1-4, East Wing is Gates 7, 8 and 9. Navigate to "10 EXCO-ro" for the West Wing and "110 Yutongdanji-ro" for the East.
- Bring your ticket. The 5,000 won daily cap only applies if you show it.
Get those three right and parking will not be the part of the day you remember. Rates and hours can change, so check the EXCO parking fee page again just before you go — and for other venues in Daegu, see our visiting tips.
Sources — the fees, facilities and transport details were checked on 9 September 2026 against EXCO's official parking guide, parking fees, facility specifications, amenities and transport pages. The per-hall performance counts are our own tally of the 71 EXCO performances registered with KOPIS.
