KBS수원아트홀 (KBS Suwon Art Hall) is KBS's studio theatre on the first and second floors of the east amenities building at KBS Suwon Center (1,080 m²), 123 Ingye-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon. It can take plays, musicals, dance and concerts, but its programme is mostly plays and children's theatre. We checked the hall's official facility, seating, parking and directions pages and the KBS Suwon Center directions page on 2 October 2026, and compared them with public.ai.kr's KOPIS venue data.

How many seats does KBS Suwon Art Hall have, and is there a balcony?

KBS Suwon Art Hall has 200 seats, all on the ground floor. The official facility page gives the stage as 168.25 m²; the ground floor holds the stage, seats, control booth, box office, lobby and snack corner, while the second floor is rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms and offices, so audiences never go upstairs.

Counting the numbered seats row by row on the official chart gives exactly 200, with two wheelchair spaces at the left end of row 다. KOPIS, Korea's national performing-arts database, lists the hall at 190 seats, 10 short of the official figure; the hall's own introduction page says "about 200".

Which seats have the best view at KBS Suwon Art Hall?

KBS Suwon Art Hall has only 12 raked rows, labelled 가 to 타 in Korean alphabetical order, so even the back row is close. For the whole stage, sit in the middle of rows 라 to 사 (rows 4–7); for faces up close, rows 가 to 다 (rows 1–3).

다 (3)13Two wheelchair spaces at the left end
라, 마 (4–5)18 eachFirst full-width rows; good balance of distance and angle

  • There is no centre aisle, only side stairs, so the middle of an 18-seat row means passing eight or nine people; with children, take an end seat.
  • There are two doors: a side door at the front and a centre door at the back by the control booth. If you might be late, an end seat in a back row is the shortest walk.
  • The official site has no seat-view photos, so the auditorium photos and the chart are the best guide.

How do I get from the entrance to my seat?

The main entrance opens straight into the lobby, with the box office (information desk) at the back and the snack corner and toilets beside it. Everything is on one floor, so it is a short walk from collecting tickets to your seat. The box office hands out both booked tickets and parking discount tickets.
