롯데콘서트홀 (Lotte Concert Hall) is a 2,036-seat classical concert hall on the 8th floor of Lotte World Mall at 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It opened in 2016 and is run by the Lotte Foundation for Arts. The one thing not to confuse is the building: it is the mall, not the neighbouring Lotte World Tower with the observation deck. How much does parking cost at Lotte Concert Hall?

With a same-day concert ticket it is a flat 4,800 won for four hours; without a ticket, or beyond four hours, the Lotte World Mall base rate applies, and that base rate went up on 1 September 2026. The official parking page now gives the daytime rate (10:00 to 20:00) as 600 won per 10 minutes on weekdays and 800 won at weekends and on public holidays, with 200 won per 10 minutes at other times. The "500 won per 10 minutes" quoted by most visitor guides was the rate from October 2025 to August 2026; a Korea Economic Daily report of 4 September 2026 confirms the rise and its date.

The 4,800 won flat rate is a large saving against the 14,400 won a weekday's four hours would cost at the base rate, or 19,200 won at the weekend. The concert hall shares the Lotte World Mall underground car park, and the official page warns that the nearby public car park is not connected to the mall. How do I claim the parking discount?

You scan a parking-discount barcode at a pre-payment machine before you leave. The official page lists three routes.

Hi-pass users must register before leaving; an unregistered car gets no discount at the exit. If the Hi-pass balance is short, an ordinary card works at the exit for amounts under 50,000 won. The official page also names the pillars nearest the concert hall on each level.

Ninety disabled-parking bays are allocated on basement levels 2 to 4 of Lotte World Mall, and the concert hall's dedicated lift (basement 6 to 8th floor) runs straight up to the main lobby.

How many seats are there, and how is the hall laid out?

There are 2,036 seats: 1,538 on level 1 and 498 on level 2, including 22 wheelchair spaces. It was Korea's first vineyard-style hall, with the audience wrapped around the stage on every side, so the stage feels closer than in a conventional hall; the acoustics are by Nagata Acoustics. Behind level 1 block P stands a Rieger pipe organ with 68 stops and about 5,000 pipes.

The floor numbering is worth knowing. The main lobby is the building's 8th floor, auditorium level 1 is the 9th and level 2 the 10th, and some level 1 blocks can be entered straight from the 8th-floor lobby. The lobby holds the ticket box, the cloak room and a cafe. Level 1 is divided into blocks LP, L, A (five sections), B, C, D, E, R, RP and P (four sections).

Which seats have the best view?

For view and sound together, level 1 block C rows 9 to 11 are the seats most often named in audience reviews. The photos below are from the seat VR service on the official seating page; the ratings are a digest of reviews, not official guidance.

Block C rows 9 to 11 gain from the rake, giving a clear sightline at a good distance and angle, and are especially popular for piano recitals. For value, level 1 blocks L and R rows 1 and 2 are worth a look: a safety rail slightly intrudes, but you are close enough to watch the players' hands.

Some regulars prefer the end seats, such as block A row 1 seat 1 or block E row 1 seat 1, because nobody moves on one side of you.

Level 2 blocks L and R (the balconies) are cheaper, but reviews often say the view feels pressed downward from anywhere but the front row. If the budget points upstairs, aim for the front.

The vineyard layout gives decent sound everywhere, but genres differ. Orchestras blend smoothly; some listeners find piano recitals a touch blurred by the long reverberation. How do I get there by subway and bus?

Enter Lotte World Mall between exits 1 and 2 of Jamsil Station on Line 2, or through mall gates 17 and 18 towards exits 10 and 11 of Jamsil Station (Songpa-gu Office) on Line 8, then go up to the 8th floor. Both lines stop at Jamsil, so no transfer is needed.

Intercity bus passengers should leave the Jamsil transit centre by exit 1 and enter the mall on the right. Inside the mall, the Lotte World Tower and Mall website's route finder plots an indoor route to the concert hall. The entrance gets busy from 30 minutes before curtain, so allow time.

Where are the cloak room and the wheelchair seats?

The cloak room is in the 8th-floor main lobby, marked on the official facilities plan alongside the ticket box, the concert hall lift (basement 6 to 8th floor) and the accessible lift (8th to 10th floor). The 22 wheelchair spaces are on level 1: after taking the hall's lift to the 8th-floor lobby, the blue-marked blocks are entered from the 8th floor and the yellow-marked blocks via the accessible lift to the 9th floor, and you watch from your wheelchair.
