Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium: seat views, 738 vs 800 seats, and parking (checked October 2026)

The Sungshin Women's University Woonjung Green Campus auditorium in Seoul has 738 seats by the ticketing chart (618 downstairs, 120 upstairs; KOPIS says 800), and the middle of block B, rows 4–10, is the safest pick. Campus parking is available but the university publishes no visitor rate, so the subway — eight minutes on foot from Mia station exit 1 — is the reliable way in (checked October 2026).

성신여자대학교 운정그린캠퍼스 (Sungshin Women's University Woonjung Green Campus) is the university's second campus, at 55 Dobong-ro 76ga-gil in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, near Mia station on Line 4. Its main auditorium (대강당) has become a regular stop for concerts and fan meetings. Everything below was re-checked in October 2026 against the university's own campus guide (transport and parking) and the KOPIS (Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System) records we hold. There are no official seat-view photos, so the seat-view notes rest on the university's own event photos and on audience reviews.

How many seats does the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium have?

Counting the ticketing sites' seating chart gives the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium 618 seats on the first floor and 120 on the second, 738 in total. KOPIS and the venue database The Musical both list the same hall at 800 seats. The university's own website does not publish a seat count.

The 62-seat gap most likely reflects the difference between seats sold and the hall's nominal capacity: the sound console position at the back of the first floor, for one, is never sold, and the seats on sale vary with each production's stage set-up. Around 738 is the number to plan a booking around.

With 84% of the seats downstairs, this is effectively a one-level hall.

Which seats have the best view at the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium?

The safest seats are in the middle of block B on the first floor, roughly rows 4 to 10. The hall is small enough that blocks A and C are not far away, but they look at the stage at an angle, and reviews of the second floor say anything behind row 1 suffers from the railing.

What audience reviews keep repeating:

  • The first-floor rake is gentle, and several reviewers say a tall person in front hides the bottom of the stage. In the middle and back rows, an aisle seat helps.
  • The front rows of blocks A and C sit right beside block B and feel close; the angle grows towards the outer ends of each block.
  • On the ticketing chart, the centre of block B's rows 17 and 18 is left empty for the sound console. Seats directly behind and beside it look past equipment and crew.

The screen behind the stage is large, so at a concert with live video even the back rows can follow faces.

  • Block B upstairs has only two rows. Reviewers found row 1, in front of the glass railing, comfortable; row 2 has little room between seat and railing, which feels poor value at a single-price show.
  • The D and E side balconies look down on the stage from the side, so the far end of the stage is foreshortened. The more an artist uses the full width of the stage, the more that matters.

What kind of shows play at the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium?

KOPIS lists 17 productions that opened, or are scheduled to open, in the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium since October 2025, and 14 of them are pop concerts or fan concerts. The other three are musicals, including a children's show and one in English.

For November 2026, KOPIS has a VICTON concert (14–15 November), a Son Seung-yeon fan concert (21 November) and a Choi Jae-hoon concert (22 November). Fan meetings and fan concerts are frequent here, which is why seating and parking questions come up so often.

Can I park at the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium, and how much does it cost?

Audiences can use the campus car park, but the university's official parking guide lists only season-ticket rates for staff and graduate students — no hourly visitor rate is published (checked October 2026). Parking enquiries go to the Woonjung Green Campus parking office, room 351 on basement level 3 of building A, +82 2-920-2620.

  • Private parking-information services list the visitor rate as ₩1,500 for the first 30 minutes and ₩500 per 10 minutes after that. The university has not published this, so treat it as a guide only; at that rate three hours comes to about ₩9,000.
  • At some past shows the promoter sold discounted parking passes in the lobby. Whether there is one, and the price, varies by show, so check the ticketing notice.
  • Ticketing notices for weekend shows often warn that nearby roads are congested and ask audiences to come by public transport.
  • The speed limit on campus is 20 km/h.

What should I know before going to the Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium?

The Sungshin Woonjung Green Campus auditorium is a university hall, so the lobby and facilities are plainer than at a dedicated theatre. We found no official mention of lockers, so travel light.

  • Tickets are usually collected at a lobby desk; when collection opens is set by the promoter, so check their notice.
  • Reviewers say the air conditioning runs cold — bring a light layer.
  • The student cafeterias are often closed at weekends, so eat near Mia station.
  • The campus switchboard is +82 2-920-7870; questions about the show itself go to the ticketing site or the promoter.

Seat-view notes are drawn from cross-checked audience reviews and can vary with each production's staging.
