Yeongdeungpo Art Square: How to Find It in Times Square B2 and Where to Park (Checked October 2026)
Yeongdeungpo Art Square is a free district arts space on Times Square B2, next to the Dokdo Experience Hall, a 7-minute indoor walk from Yeongdeungpo Station (Line 1). It has no car park: Times Square is free for 30 minutes, and the Yeongnam public car park (₩960 per 30 min) is cheapest for longer stays. Most shows are free with registration, but two of three rental shows in KOPIS cost ₩77,000–₩80,000.

Yeongdeungpo Art Square (영등포아트스퀘어) is a free, district-run arts space on the second basement floor (B2) of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, right next to the Dokdo Experience Hall. It is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, last entry 17:45, and has no car park of its own.

Where in Times Square is Yeongdeungpo Art Square?
Yeongdeungpo Art Square's entrance is on Times Square B2, directly beside the Dokdo Experience Hall. Walk past the front of E-mart on the same floor toward the lobby between Lotteria and 8 Seconds. B2 is large, and visitors who only know "B2" tend to end up inside E-mart.

How long is the walk from the subway?
From Yeongdeungpo Station on Line 1 it is a 7-minute walk through the underground passage, which stays indoors the whole way. Mullae Station (Line 2) exit 4 is also 7 minutes, and Yeongdeungpo Market Station (Line 5) exit 4 is 10 minutes.

From Yeongdeungpo Station, follow the underground passage into Times Square at GATE 10 (B1). Take the escalator down to B2 and walk past Uniqlo and 8 Seconds. Near E-mart, floor graphics lead you to the entrance.
Walking from Mullae Station, take the escalator in the Times Square plaza straight down to B2, enter at GATE 14 and turn right.
If you come in through the main entrance (GATE 3), take the escalators down to B2. From the lifts, turn right when you step out on B2.
Many buses stop nearby, including village buses Yeongdeungpo 03, 04 and 05, and city buses 462, 670, 760 and 5616. Search "Yeongdeungpo Times Square" in a map app to pick the nearest stop.
Where do I park for Yeongdeungpo Art Square, and how much does it cost?
Yeongdeungpo Art Square has no car park. The official website points to the Times Square building car park and two public car parks. For a visit under 30 minutes, Times Square is free and the easiest. Stay over an hour, and the Yeongnam public car park is the cheapest.

Times Square validates free parking time for purchases at stores such as Shinsegae and E-mart, so check at the pay station before you leave. The official pages mention no parking discount for Art Square visitors.
Are performances at Yeongdeungpo Art Square free?
Exhibitions and the venue's own programmes are mostly free, but rental performances can charge admission. Of the three performances registered at this space in KOPIS, two were ticketed.

Check the venue name when you book. In KOPIS and on ticketing sites, Art Square is not listed as a venue of its own: it appears as the hall "영등포 아트스퀘어(B2)" under the venue "영등포 타임스퀘어" (Yeongdeungpo Times Square). The building's former Kids & Kids theatre is marked closed in KOPIS.
Which room hosts performances, and how many people does it hold?
Yeongdeungpo Art Square has no fixed seating. Day to day it is an exhibition and rest space, and chairs go out when there is a show. Performances are mostly held in Square T, the largest room.

Areas and capacities are from the venue's rental-space guide. KOPIS lists this hall at 150 seats, which does not match the official 100 for Square T. The real layout can vary from show to show, so go by the individual performance listing for the exact seat count.
What are the rules for attending a performance?
Most performances at Yeongdeungpo Art Square take advance registration through the "프로그램 및 예약" (Programmes and booking) menu on the official website, and seating is unreserved. The official performance notices list these rules:
- Each application registers one person. For two or more, apply once per person.
- Entry is first come, first served among registered guests; seats are not assigned.
- Doors usually open 30 minutes before the start.
- Seats still empty after the show starts are offered to walk-in visitors.
- No food or drinks inside. You can leave drinks at the holder beside the information desk.
- No pets, and no wheeled items such as scooters or carts (prams and wheelchairs are fine).
With unreserved seating, arrive when the doors open if you want a particular seat.
Is Yeongdeungpo Art Square the same as Yeongdeungpo Art Hall?
No. Yeongdeungpo Art Square is the district arts space on Times Square B2. Yeongdeungpo Art Hall (영등포아트홀) is a separate theatre at 596 Gukhoe-daero in Dangsan-dong, about 1 km away in a straight line. Check the venue name before you book.
