KBS Busan Hall concert seats: which floor has the best view?

KBS Busan Hall (부산KBS홀) seats 2,847: for a close view of the performers pick the middle block (Da) of the raked 1st-floor seats, and for the whole stage pick the 2nd-floor front blocks G to K. The floors hold 1,035, 1,518 and 294 seats, and the operator publishes no visitor parking, so take Busan Metro Line 2 to Namcheon (남천) Station, Exit 5, a 4-minute walk.

KBS Busan Hall (부산KBS홀, also listed as KBS부산홀) is a multipurpose hall inside the KBS Busan broadcasting centre at 429 Suyeong-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan. It seats 2,847 over three floors. The hall's own page sits on the KBS Arena website, which KBS Business runs for KBS's rental halls; everything below was checked against that page and its official seating chart in October 2026.

How many seats does KBS Busan Hall have on each floor?

KBS Busan Hall has 2,847 seats. According to the operator's KBS Busan Hall page, the 1st floor has 1,035, the 2nd floor 1,518 and the 3rd floor 294, which add up to exactly 2,847. The 2nd floor alone holds more than half the house.

Our KOPIS record (Korea's national performing-arts database) for 'KBS홀 [부산]' also gives 2,847, so the two sources agree. The official page does not say whether the flat-floor extra blocks in front of the stage (보조1~4) are included in that number.

It is a broadcaster's public hall rather than a dedicated theatre: the operator says it hosts the KBS Busan singing class every Wednesday and a free monthly health lecture.

How are the seating blocks named on the seat map?

KBS Busan Hall names its blocks differently on each floor. The 1st floor has blocks Ga to Ma (가~마) facing the stage plus flat extra blocks 1 to 4 (보조1~4) right in front of it; the 2nd floor has blocks A to Q wrapping around the 1st floor in a U; and the 3rd floor reuses Ga to Ma.

The official seating chart: 1F blocks Ga-Ma (가~마) and extra blocks 1-4 (보조), 2F blocks A-Q, 3F blocks Ga-Ma (Source: KBS Arena website, KBS Busan Hall page)
  • 1F Ga-Ma: five blocks facing the stage, with Da (다) in the middle. A cross-aisle splits each block into front and back halves.
  • 1F extra blocks 1-4: the flat floor between the stage and the fixed seats, where movable chairs go for some shows.
  • 2F A-Q: starting at A on one side of the stage, running round the back through the front blocks G-K and ending at Q on the other side. The ends nearest the stage are A-C and O-Q.
  • 3F Ga-Ma: behind 2F G-K, the highest seats in the hall.

Because the 1st and 3rd floors both use Ga to Ma, check the floor number, not just the block name, when you book.

Which 1st-floor seats have the best view?

The steadiest view on the 1st floor is from the red raked fixed seats, and above all the middle block, Da. Next best are the inner seats of Na and Ra; the outer edges of Ga and Ma look at the stage at an angle.

The official photos show the fixed seats rising toward the back, while the white extra chairs in front sit on a flat floor. Those are the closest seats to the stage, but with no rake the head in front of you matters a lot. Whether a show uses them varies, so check the seat-selection screen when booking.

Is the 2nd-floor front or side better?

For the whole stage and the lighting design, the 2nd-floor front blocks G to K are the pick. The side blocks A-C and O-Q are closer to the stage but look at it side-on.

A metal safety rail runs in front of the 2nd-floor front blocks. The front row has an open view, but depending on how you sit the rail can cut across the bottom of the stage; a few rows back, the steep rake keeps heads in front out of the way.

Shots taken from the 2nd floor show the band and the performers' movement across the whole stage in one frame, above the 1st-floor crowd. For a show built on choreography or big staging, the 2nd-floor front can beat the back of the 1st floor.

What are the 3rd-floor seats like at KBS Busan Hall?

The 3rd floor is the smallest, with 294 seats, and the highest and furthest from the stage, behind 2F G-K. Expect to watch faces on the screens.

In exchange you get the whole stage picture, the lighting and the sea of light sticks below. Screen size and placement are set by each production, not built into the hall, so bring a small pair of binoculars if you book up here.

Which block should I pick for the kind of view I want?

For faces and closeness, the front and middle rows of 1F Da; for the full production, 2F G-K. The 3rd floor is the budget option for atmosphere.

Can I park at KBS Busan Hall?

The operator publishes no visitor parking for KBS Busan Hall. Its page on the KBS Arena website lists only subway and bus directions, and that site's "Directions/Parking" menu describes the KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul (checked October 2026).

Some venue-listing sites say parking is available inside the broadcasting centre, but nothing confirms it is open to concertgoers. If you must drive, read the promoter's parking notice on the ticketing page first; on a concert night with more than 2,800 people, public transport is the safer bet.

How do I get there by subway or bus?

The nearest station is Namcheon (남천) on Busan Metro Line 2: Exit 5 is a 4-minute walk. The next station, Geumnyeonsan (금련산), is a 6-minute walk from Exit 6.

The official page labels both stations "Line 5", which looks like a leftover from the Seoul KBS Arena page (Balsan Station, Seoul Line 5). Both are on Busan Line 2, and Busan has no Line 5.

The closest bus stop is KBS Broadcasting Station (KBS방송국), 2 minutes away. Routes by stop, from the official page:

Right after a show the crowd heads for Namcheon, so walking to Geumnyeonsan instead can be quicker.

Are there lockers at KBS Busan Hall?

The operator's page for KBS Busan Hall mentions no lockers or bag storage (checked October 2026). Leave large bags at your hotel or a station locker, and check the promoter's notice for any show-day cloakroom.

What should I check before booking?

KBS Busan Hall has three clear characters: closeness in the middle of the 1st floor, the full picture from the 2nd-floor front, and screens and atmosphere on the 3rd. Before you book, check three things.

  1. The floor: 1F Ga-Ma and 3F Ga-Ma are completely different seats.
  2. Extra seats: whether the flat blocks 1-4 in front of the stage are used depends on the show.
  3. Parking: the operator offers no guidance, so follow the promoter's notice, or take Line 2 to Namcheon, Exit 5.

KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, is a different venue with a similar name; its seats and parking are covered in our KBS Arena seats, view and parking guide.

Seat counts, blocks and directions were checked in October 2026 against the KBS Busan Hall page on the KBS Arena website and the KOPIS facility record. The cover and body photos come from the same page. Rental enquiries: +82 51-620-7181.
