Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall (코엑스아티움 우리은행홀) is a 1,004-seat musical and concert theatre on the 5th and 6th floors of the Coex Artium building at 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, next to the COEX convention centre. For this guide we counted the official seating charts seat by seat and checked the parking costs against COEX's own rate card. Everything below is as of October 2026.

How many seats does Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall have, and on which floors?

Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall has 1,004 seats: 758 on the first level (building floor 5) and 246 on the second level (building floor 6). Counting the official seating charts shows both figures include the wheelchair spaces and the orchestra rows.

LevelOfficial seatsWhat the chart adds up to
First level (floor 5)758693 regular + 57 orchestra + 8 wheelchair
Second level (floor 6)246244 regular + 2 wheelchair
Total1,0041,004

One figure disagrees. The website text lists 54 orchestra seats, but the chart itself says 57 (28 in OP1, 29 in OP2), and only 57 adds up to the official 758. Orchestra rows are not sold for every show, so check the booking screen.

KOPIS, Korea's national performing-arts database, also lists the venue as a single 1,004-seat hall, matching the official total exactly, though still under the older name 코엑스아티움 (Coex Artium). The hall reopened after a remodel in December 2021, carried the name Coex Shinhan Card Artium after a naming deal announced in September 2022 (Newsis), and is now the Woori Bank Hall. Older reviews use the previous names.

Which first-level seats have the best view?

On the first level of Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall, the seats facing the stage head-on are in centre section B (rows 1 to 23, 365 seats). Side sections A and C (rows 1 to 21, 164 seats each) are angled towards the stage, so they see it from the side.

  • Section B: rows 1 to 10 alternate between 16 and 15 seats, so each seat sits half a seat off the one in front. Rows 11 to 21 have 16 seats and the back rows 22 and 23 have 17.
  • Sections A and C: mostly 8 seats a row, with 7 in rows 7, 8, 16 and 17. The seats closest to the centre line are A8 and C1, on the aisles next to section B.
  • Rows B22 and B23: the back of the first level, two rows behind the last row of A and C.
  • Gates: gates 1 and 4 are at the stage end, gates 2 and 3 at the back of the stalls.

What are the second-level seats like?

The second level of Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall has only eight rows, against up to 23 on the first level, so it is shallow. Centre section B holds 130 seats and looks straight down at the stage, which suits shows where the full stage picture and lighting matter.

C (right)1 to 84 to 857

In section B, rows 1, 2 and 8 have 16 seats, rows 3 to 6 have 17 and row 7 has 14. Sections A and C have 8 seats in rows 1 to 6, then 5 in row 7 and 4 in row 8. The second level has a single entrance, gate 1 at the back.

For a musical where facial expressions matter, start with first-level section B. For the full stage picture, or a smaller budget, look at the front rows of second-level section B. Actual sightlines vary with each production's set and speaker positions.

Where should I park for a show at Coex Artium?

The venue's official directions page says to set your navigation to the Coex East Gate car park (코엑스 동문주차장) and park on basement level 2 in the B2 Green Zone, the area closest to the hall. The theatre has no car park of its own and shares the COEX car park.

The venue warns that the COEX area is heavily congested and parking can take a long time, and recommends public transport. If you drive, leave at least 30 minutes earlier than usual.

How much is parking at Coex Artium, and how much with the show discount?

With a show ticket registered for the discount, the first four hours in the COEX car park cost 4,800 won, and every 15 minutes after that adds 1,500 won. Four hours without the discount would cost 24,000 won (16 blocks of 15 minutes at 1,500 won), so registering matters. The rates below are from COEX's official parking fee page.

ItemRate
Cars, standard rate1,500 won per 15 minutes
Cars, daily maximum60,000 won
Show ticket discountfirst 4 hours for 4,800 won
Beyond 4 hours1,500 won per 15 minutes
Grace timefree if you leave within 20 minutes of entry
Registered disabled drivers, national merit recipients50% off

Five hours, for example, comes to 4,800 won + 4 × 1,500 won = 10,800 won. COEX also advertises 4,800 won per hour when paying through the Kakao T parking app (personal cards only), but for a show the ticket discount of 4,800 won for four hours is far better. COEX parking enquiries: 02-6002-7130.

How do I register the parking discount?

You must register the discount inside Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall; an unregistered car pays the standard rate. There are two ways:

  1. Kiosk: enter your plate number at the parking-discount machine (one unit) opposite the first-level box office and confirm the car.
  2. Ticket QR code: scan the QR code at the bottom right of your ticket and enter your plate number. This works only on the day of the show.

Registration is open from when the lobby opens until 15 minutes after the show ends (it closes once the audience has left). After that, call the parking office from a pre-payment machine in the car park and show your ticket. Pre-payment machines take cards only. If you are seeing two shows the same day, or also used Megabox or the COEX Aquarium, the venue asks you to speak to the attendants at gate 2 on the first level or gate 1 on the second.

How do I get there by subway or bus?

Coex Artium Woori Bank Hall connects by underground passage to Samseong Station on subway Line 2, and is about 524 m from Exit 7 of Bongeunsa Station on Line 9. By bus, get off at the Trade Center (무역센터, stop 23199) or Korea World Trade Center / Samseong Station (한국무역센터.삼성역, stop 23201) stops.

Inside the hall, photography and recording are not allowed, food and drink may not be brought in or eaten, and phones and other devices must be switched off.
