Parking김대중컨벤션센터Kimdaejung Convention Center parking: only 958 spaces while Outdoor Lot 2 is closed, so should you drive to a concert?As of September 2026 the 김대중컨벤션센터 (Kimdaejung Convention Center) in Gwangju has only 958 parking spaces, the indoor lot (480) plus Outdoor Lot 1 (478), because the 565-space Outdoor Lot 2 is closed for repairs. Indoor parking is 700 won for 30 minutes, then 350 won per 15 minutes, 8,000 won a day; Outdoor Lot 1 is half that. For a 3,000-seat Multipurpose Hall show, the 3-minute walk from exit 5 of Kimdaejung Convention Center (Mareuk) Station on Line 1 is the safer plan. There are 116 lockers.

The car park inside the building is not available to audiences, so come by public transport.
Parking영산아트홀Youngsan Art Hall seating and parking: the 84 upper seats are not a balconyYoungsan Art Hall (영산아트홀), a 598-seat classical hall in Yeouido, splits into 491 main-floor seats, 23 stage-side R seats and 84 upstairs — and those 84 are side blocks running along both walls, not a balcony facing the stage. Parking is in basement levels 6 and 7 of the Kukmin Ilbo (CCMM) building, at 3,000 won for three hours once you collect a validation coupon from the lobby desk.
Parking샤롯데씨어터Charlotte Theater seat views and parking: where to sit on Floor 1 and Floor 2 (checked September 2026)The stage at Charlotte Theater is 23m from the back of Floor 1 and 28m from the back of Floor 2, so the left-right angle matters far more than the distance. Rows 11-16 of Block B on Floor 1 and rows 1-4 of Block B on Floor 2 are the steadiest, and the audience parking voucher is 5,000 won for four hours from the main lobby service zone.

PnGo, the unstaffed robot store on the Grand Theater's first floor, is open 24 hours, but the basement restaurant serves only 12:30–13:20 on weekdays, so it is no help before an evening show.

Emart24, Cafe The May, the information desk and a Gwangju Bank ATM cluster at the south gate (Gates 1 and 2) of the exhibition building, and the Galbiyeon restaurant is on 2F of the convention building.

Cafe Tank6 is on basement level 2 of the T6 Community Center and opens every day of the year; a small ecology library called the Eco Lounge is on the second floor of the same building.

Restaurants, a bakery and a convenience store are on floors 1 and 2, and a bookstore and cafe on floor 4 — so waiting and eating happen in the same building.

The street-level Angel-in-us on Floors 1-2 runs 08:00-23:00 daily (08:00-21:00 when there is no performance), but the Floor 3 and Floor 4 kiosks open only from an hour before curtain until the interval, and just lidded drinks and ice cream may be taken into the auditorium.

There is an Ediya Coffee on the building's second floor, usable as a place to wait before and after a show (Sky Art Hall facilities page).

The building arcade has restaurants, a canteen on basement 3 and a florist - useful at a recital hall where audiences arrive with bouquets - though the venue's listing of them dates from December 2016, so check before relying on it.
