Chuncheon Culture and Art Center: seat views on both tiers, parking, and what to check before bookingChuncheon Culture and Art Center (춘천문화예술회관) has one 940-seat hall, split into 670 seats on tier 1 (including 10 wheelchair spaces) and 270 on tier 2. Its own car park holds only 78 free spaces, but the municipal car park next door adds 130 more that the city register also lists as free — 208 free spaces within walking distance.
강릉문화예술관)Gangneung Arts Center: Saimdang Hall and Small Hall seat views and parkingSaimdang Hall at Gangneung Arts Center (강릉아트센터) has no seats on the first floor — 710 on level 2 and 262 on level 3, 972 in all — and the official site publishes 22 seat-view photographs, 15 for level 2 and 7 for level 3. Parking in front of the building is free, and online booking and cancellation both close one hour before curtain.
Seats & sightlines at a glance, venue by venue
The Grand Theater seats 1,182 (908 on level 1 and 274 on level 2), while the Small Theater is a single level of 463 seats with no balcony.
- Arts Center Incheon
The concert hall's 1,727 seats are 851, 618 and 258 across auditorium levels 1 to 3, which sit on building floors 2, 3 and 5 — so the level on your ticket is not the button in the lift.
- Bucheon Art Center
Both the Concert Hall (1,445 seats) and the Arts Theater (304 seats) have an official 360-degree VR viewer showing the stage from seat height, though the Arts Theater combines 240 retractable seats with 60 movable pit seats and is reconfigured per production.
- Busan Concert Hall
The Concert Hall's 2,011 seats split into 694 on B1, 1,038 on Floor 1 and 279 on Floor 2, and its vineyard layout wraps the audience around the stage so the block matters more than the level; the Chamber Hall's 400 seats are 75 in block A, 250 in block B and 75 in block C, with block B making up 62.5% of the room.
- Busan Cultural Center
Four halls seat 2,926 in total (1,417 / 783 / 414 / 312), matching the KOPIS registration; official counts list only 1F and 2F, so Grand Theater rows 11–15 and Middle Theater rows 8–9 upstairs are counted inside the second-floor figures.
- Daegu Concert House
The Grand Hall's 1,284 seats wrap around the stage in a vineyard layout, so even balcony and choir seats are close to it, and the Chamber Hall's 248 seats sit on a single tier where the back row is still near the stage.
- Daejeon Arts Center
Art Hall's 1,546 seats split into 1,039 on level 1 (including 125 orchestra-pit seats), 229 on level 2 and 278 on level 3, and the first one or two rows on levels 2 and 3 sit behind a safety rail.
Of the Auditorium's 1,572 seats, 1,304 are on the fixed rake and the rest are movable seats on the flat floor, so a ticketing chart showing about 1,300 seats means only the tiered section is open.
- Goyang Stadium
Goyang Urban Management Corporation lists the main stadium at 40,907 seats and the auxiliary field at 992, while KOPIS registers 43,000 and Goyang Gymnasium at 6,216, a 2,093-seat gap for the main stadium.
The house seats 1,211 in total — 718 on level 1 including a 70-seat orchestra pit block, 285 on level 2 and 208 on level 3 — and on the official chart the centre of level 1 row 20 in block B is the sound and lighting console.
- Gyeonggi Arts Center
The 1,544-seat Grand Theater and 502-seat Small Theater both run zones out from the stage — take the centre line for a square-on view, the front of level 1 for proximity, level 2 for the whole stage picture.
The main hall seats 964 — 554 across blocks A, B and C in rows 1–18 on level 1, and 410 across blocks D, E and F in rows 1–14 on level 2 — while the small hall seats 218 in rows V to L, the first of them 1.5 metres from the stage.
- Incheon Asiad Main Stadium
The canopy covers only the two long sides, and both ends behind the goals are low and open, so depending on which end the stage faces those seats are often withheld from sale or sold as restricted-view.
Registered with KOPIS at 200 seats, this single-level basement studio runs from row A to row G on a raked floor, so even the back row is close to the stage.
Hall 1 is on B1 with 230 seats (228 in KOPIS and on the plan), Hall 2 on 2F with 210, Hall 3 on 4F with 208, Hall 4 on 6F with 208; every hall is single-level with a left block 1 to 10 and a right block 11 to 18, so the row matters more than the block.
The 2,222 fixed seats split into nine blocks, A to I; on the official chart block A (317) and block G (324) are the largest and blocks D and F the smallest at 186 each.
The 390 seats sit in 14 rows (A–N) with no balcony and numbers running left to right in one sequence, so the centre section is seats 7–21 in the front block (rows A–G) and 8–22 in the rear block (rows H–N); for a piano recital the left section (seats 1–8) faces the keyboard.
- Lotte Concert Hall
A 2,036-seat vineyard hall (1,538 on level 1, 498 on level 2, 22 wheelchair spaces) matching KOPIS; level 1 block C rows 9 to 11 for view and sound, level 1 blocks L and R front rows for value, and level 2 L and R feel pressed down beyond the front row.
- National Gugak Center
In Yeakdang, levels 1 and 2 run together as a single rake, so a "level 2" ticket is not a distant tier; the squarest view is the centre block of rows Na and Da.
- Sejong Center for the Performing Arts
The Grand Theater's 3,022 seats are 1,030 on the 1st floor, 964 on the 2nd and 1,028 on the 3rd; zone D is centre on the 2nd floor and D and E on the 3rd, where every zone looks down on the stage.
- Seongnam Arts Center
In the Opera House stalls the blocks are A 1–16 on the left, B 17–32 in the centre and C 33–48 on the right, with a cross aisle between rows 16 and 17. In the Concert Hall stalls the centre is 13–32 and the aisle falls between rows 8 and 9.
- Seoul Arts Center
The Concert Hall's 2,505 seats are 1,508 on floor 1 (including 274 choir seats), 568 on floor 2 and 429 on floor 3; floor 1 block C is head-on, floor 2 block C shows the orchestra layout, and floor 3 block D is the overview seat.
- Suseong Artpia
43 of the Grand Theatre's 428 second-tier seats are classified as restricted-view, while the 301-seat Recital Hall is a single level where sightlines vary far less.
It is only 18m from the stage edge to the back of the Hangang stalls, so row 19 still sees the whole stage, and the balcony's front-facing seating is just five rows deep; the Dream theatre seats 232 on the foundation's own chart, 18 fewer than the 250 registered in KOPIS and repeated by ticketing sites.
Saimdang Hall has no seats on the first floor — 710 on level 2 and 262 on level 3 — and the official site publishes 22 seat-view photographs, 15 for level 2 and 7 for level 3.
The concert hall's capacity differs by source: 1,043 by adding the seating plan (770 downstairs, 273 upstairs), 1,000 on Konyang University's site, 1,200 in KOPIS; the plan colour-codes A, B, balcony and unsold seats.
The Gugakdang seats 426 across nine zones, A to I; the centre zones B and E give the squarest view of the full stage picture.
Hwarang Hall has no level 1 seating, so “level 2, row A” on your ticket is effectively the front row; the steadiest views are the centre of rows I–N on level 2 and rows B–F on level 3.
Seating runs across three levels, each split into blocks A to E with centre block C as the reference point; the front row of every level has a fall-protection rail that can cut into the lower part of your view.
The house seats 1,954 — 1,221, 387 and 346 by floor — matching its KOPIS registration exactly, and at 35m from stage to back row even the rear stalls stay close.
Oullim Theatre seats 1,290 — 985 downstairs (including 72 orchestra-pit seats and 14 wheelchair spaces) and 305 upstairs — and the foundation states every seat is within 32m of the stage.
For the fullest, squarest view of the stage, take rows 6-10 of Block B on the first floor or row 1 of Block B upstairs in the Grand Theater, and rows 8-12 of Block B in the Small Theater.
BBCH Hall's row letters run straight through — A–R on level 1, S–Z on level 2 — so any row from S onwards is upstairs, and on level 1 the centre block is numbered 11–30 with seat 20 facing the stage head-on.
The restricted-view seats the booking page lists all sit at the outer ends of the wings wrapping the stage (rows C, D and E), while the restricted-sound seats are the opposite extreme — around the projector at the centre of back row M.
The venue registers one hall on KOPIS, Scientry Hall, seating 201. It mostly hosts Dalseong-gun's children's theatre series.
The 805 seats are 538 in the stalls (including 8 wheelchair spaces) plus 267 upstairs. Second-floor rows A~D have only three seats each side; the centre block starts at row E.
Only 1,010 of the Multi-purpose Hall's 3,000 seats are retractable tiered seats and the rest are temporary seating on a flat floor, so checking whether your block is tiered matters more than the price grade.
In the Grand Hall the far side seats on level 2 — rows D1 and F8 — catch the safety rail and its wire at the bottom of the view, while row E in the centre of the same level sees the whole stage unobstructed.
On the Concert Hall plan the "2F" blocks (A, B and C) are what another venue would call the stalls, with the balcony (A and C) and choir seats (D, E and F) up on 3F; the Ensemble Theatre is only 292 seats in Blocks A, B and C across fifteen rows, so even the back row is close to the stage.
The 560-seat main hall splits into front blocks A, B and C (16 rows) and rear blocks D, E and F; ten-seat centre block B rows 5 to 10 is the safe pick, and in the 169-seat small hall the aisle-side seats A8, A9, B1 and B2 are the true centre.
Cheongnyong Hall seats 460 (including 5 wheelchair spaces) on the first floor of the main building and Waryong Hall 212 (including 3) on the first floor of the annex, so check which hall your ticket names before choosing a building.
The Grand Ballroom seats up to 1,500 theatre-style and Conference Hall 301 is a 237-seat fixed auditorium; seating in the exhibition halls is laid out afresh for each event.
The Grand Hall has blocks A/B/C on level 1 and D/E on level 2, with block B facing the stage squarely for the best view; its capacity differs by source — 458 on the official site against 504 in KOPIS, and the booking seat map follows 458.
Yeonggang Hall's 620 seats end at row 12 in the central block, so even the back of level 1 is close to the stage — but rows 1–2 of level 2 sit behind a safety railing and some productions withhold them from sale. Space111 is a black box rebuilt for every production, so it has no fixed seating chart.
The official seating chart shows free photographs of the stage taken from twelve individual seats — seven on level 1 and five on level 2.
The 209-seat concert hall is a classical-only hall split over two levels, with balcony seating on the upper level; the 60-seat chamber hall on the fourth floor is a single level.
Payco Hall (B2, 477 seats) and Bugs Hall (2F, 401 seats) are both single-tier proscenium theatres; aim for the centre block (7~18 in Payco, 9~20 in Bugs), and note Bugs Hall numbers seats from the right.
Of the four halls and 979 seats, only Dream Hall 1 (352) has a balcony — and that balcony starts at row B, not A.
Art Hall Mac sells at most 980 of its 1,004 seats (919 when the orchestra pit is closed), and the front rows of section D on the second floor can have a speaker tower and column cutting into one side of the view.
In the 765-seat main hall (584 lower, 181 balcony) rows E to J centre are the safe pick and row K behind the cross aisle has the clearest sightline; balcony rows S and T have no centre block, and every seat in the 236-seat small hall is close.
Goma Hall is a 180-seat black box (9 rows of 20 plus 6 wheelchair positions) with one price for all seats; the venue warns that seats can shake.
The main stadium seats 53,769 (252 accessible) around an eight-lane track, so even tier 1 sits a track-width from a concert stage; reviews favour the centre of tier 2 for a full view.
Row A of tier 2 in the Haenuri Theater, seats 01-36, is the only row the official chart flags for possible restricted view, and the 87 OP seats at the front of tier 1 are removable and installed only on request.
A single 220-seat multipurpose hall, raked, with the stage 600mm above the house floor — so even front rows see the whole stage.
The stage is 23m from the back of Floor 1 and 28m from the back of Floor 2, so the left-right angle matters more than the distance: rows 11-16 of Block B on Floor 1 and rows 1-4 of Block B on Floor 2 are the steadiest, and in the side blocks a higher number in Block A or a lower number in Block C sits closer to centre.
The Grand Theater is listed at 1,063 seats by the venue and 1,071 by KOPIS — eight apart — and second-floor seats have a safety bar that can restrict the view depending on the production.
Sowol Art Hall's 520 seats are front sections Ga (90) and Na (80), rear sections Da (172) and Ra (172) and 6 wheelchair spaces; front centre and the rear seats beside the central aisle have the best views.
B2 is the main floor beside the stage and B1 is the balcony above it, so for a head-on view choose the grade V zone in rows 1-8 of B2's centre blocks.
Of the Grand Hall's 600 seats the 447 on level 1 form blocks 가/나/다/라, with centre block 가 giving the best sightlines; productions using the 12-metre revolving stage often read better from the 153 seats on level 2.
On the official seat map every row of central block B holds 15 seats, so seat 8 is dead centre, and upstairs block E holds 16, so seats 8 and 9 are — but the sound and lighting console takes the middle of the last first-floor row.
The 84 upper seats are side blocks along both walls rather than a rear balcony, and the 23 stage-side R seats are side-on too, so the centre block of the main floor (seats 13-24) is the reliable choice for a square-on view.
Hall 1 (406 seats) and Hall 2 (301) have stalls and a balcony while Hall 3 (255) is a single tier; Halls 1 and 2 are underground and Hall 3 is on the third floor, so check which hall your ticket names.
The Grand Hall seats 786 on the first floor, 532 on the second and 110 on the third, each floor divided into Block A (left), B (centre) and C (right) — Block B faces the stage squarely from any floor.
The main hall has no third level, and rows 7-10 of level 2 have no centre seats at all because the control booth sits there — aim for rows 4-6 upstairs.
All 702 seats are on a single tier with no balcony and a shallow 30 cm rise per row, so the centre block square on to the stage is the safest choice.
The Grand Theater went from 1,504 to 1,310 seats in the 2025 renovation and now has two tiers, 874 seats and 436; note that tier 2's rows A to D exist only at the sides, with the center block starting behind them.
In the 1,517-seat grand theatre the furthest seat is 32m from the stage, and in the 464-seat small theatre just 13m, so level 2 and the back rows still see well; on level 1, centre block 다 rows 6–12 is the golden zone.
The official chart shows 1,070 seats (779 + 291) while the KOPIS registration still reads 1,184, so use the site's 2026 charts for seat numbers; the 66 OP seats at the front of the stalls are the orchestra pit and are not sold when a production uses it.
All three exhibition halls and the Convention Hall are on the third floor, and for Exhibition Hall 3 or the 600 and 700 series meeting rooms the venue's own advice is to park in P3 on B1 and take the P3 lift.
In the 1,889-seat Grand Hall, rows 3–8 of central block C downstairs and rows 1–3 of the central block upstairs are the safe picks; the side A and E blocks view the stage at a pronounced angle.
The Kkumnuri Grand Theatre seats 296 (293 standard plus 3 wheelchair) and the Jayu Studio 100 (98 plus 2); both are raked.
In the Grand Hall the OP block and rows 1–3 of blocks A–C on level 1 have no rake and are sold as restricted R seats, and railings can block rows 1–3 upstairs, so for the full stage choose the centre of B block from row 4 back.
The single hall seats 940 — 670 on tier 1 and 270 on tier 2 — and performance notices have warned that rows 1 to 4 of tier 2 carry a safety bar fitted to venue safety standards that may obstruct the view.
Of the Grand Theatre's 1,253 seats the steadiest view is in the centre of the stalls; the first-balcony side boxes catch the handrail across one edge of the stage.
The Auditorium has 1,080 fixed theatre seats in a front block A–F and a rear block G–N, and because the official chart numbers seats continuously within a block, a lower number means a seat closer to the stage; Hall D is rebuilt for every show, so only the promoter's chart applies.
All 1,010 seats sit on a single raked tier with no balcony, and the rake steepens toward the back, so structurally obstructed seats are rare.
Culture Park is a 13,685㎡ outdoor lawn, so shows there are usually standing or unreserved; indoors, the Grand Ballroom holds about 1,820 and Club Chroma about 3,000.
The main hall's 1,318 seats split 852, 261 and 205 by level, with the central Block B on level one the largest at 234; the small hall's 170 first-level seats are movable and retractable, so its layout changes by production.
KEPCO Art Center seats 999 (664 on the 1st floor, 335 on the 2nd); 1st-floor rows D–I centre suit acting detail, 2nd-floor rows B–E centre suit the whole-stage view.
Dongtan Art Hall, the main auditorium, seats 1,450 (981 on level 1, 469 on level 2); rows 7–15 in the centre of level 1 are the safe pick, and on level 2 take rows 2–3 to clear the safety rail.
