Parking전남광주통합특별시 예술의전당 (구. 광주예술의전당)Gwangju Arts Center: seat views and parking for both theatres (September 2026)The Grand Theatre at Gwangju Arts Center seats 1,517 (1,102 on level 1, 415 on level 2) and the Small Theatre 464 — both matching their KOPIS registrations exactly. The furthest seat is 32m from the stage in the Grand Theatre and just 13m in the Small Theatre, so even level 2 and the back rows see well. There are 434 parking spaces, no rate is published officially, and a full Grand Theatre means 1,517 people arriving at once — allow 40 to 50 minutes.
Parking김대중컨벤션센터Parking at Kim Daejung Convention Center: 958 spaces right now, and whether to driveKim Daejung Convention Center currently has 958 usable parking spaces, 480 indoors and 478 in Outdoor Car Park 1. Outdoor Car Park 2 and its 565 spaces are closed for repairs, leaving the site at about 63% of normal capacity. With the Multi-purpose Hall holding up to 3,000 people, Metro Line 1 to Kim Daejung Convention Center (Mareuk) station, Exit 5, is the safer choice for a large concert. Outdoor Car Park 1 costs exactly half the indoor rate.
Parking김대중컨벤션센터Kimdaejung Convention Center parking: only 958 spaces while Outdoor Lot 2 is closed, so should you drive to a concert? As of September 2026 the 김대중컨벤션센터 (Kimdaejung Convention Center) in Gwangju has only 958 parking spaces, the indoor lot (480) plus Outdoor Lot 1 (478), because the 565-space Outdoor Lot 2 is closed for repairs.
